Turbo is a unique cryptocurrency project launched in April 2023 by Australian digital artist Rhett Mankind. Relaunch as Turbo
After the initial launch encountered difficulties due to a bot acquiring nearly all the tokens, Mankind considered disbanding the project. However, support from his Twitter followers, as evidenced by a poll, encouraged him to continue. With guidance from GPT-4, Mankind introduced a crowdfunding model, allowing investors to exchange funds for tokens, and rebranded the token as TURBO. The relaunch included 69 billion tokens on the Ethereum network, and Mankind transferred project control to the community to enhance decentralization. The project attracted attention from notable figures and was listed on over 80 cryptocurrency exchanges.
