History
Dent Wireless was founded in 2014 as Commando Coder LTD by Tero Katajainen and is based in Hong Kong. The platform integrates the automated market systems originally developed by Commando Coder. Dent has become the leading telecommunications blockchain project with a user base exceeding 18.7 million worldwide. In 2017, Mikko Linnamäki and Andreas Vollmer joined Tero Katajainen to further develop the Dent marketplace. The company launched its mobile application for iOS in December 2017, followed by an Android version in 2018. Dent utilizes its own token on the network, aiming to become a primary currency for mobile data transactions globally and facilitates automated data package purchases for users and IoT devices.

Tokenomics
Dent operates on the Ethereum blockchain, and users can purchase DENT tokens through the mobile app using leading cryptocurrencies like BTC, ETH, and BNB, as well as PayPal where available. These tokens can be used to buy credits for voice calls to over 60 supported countries. Dent also offers an internal exchange for trading mobile data packages or DENT tokens against BTC, ETH, or BNB.

- Tero Katajainen – CEO & Founder: Tero, from Finland, holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and has co-founded several startups. He has expertise in developing mobile operator payment systems for consumer applications.
- Mikko Linnamäki – Co-Founder: Mikko is a seasoned entrepreneur who co-founded DOVECOT, a popular IMAP server.
- Andreas Vollmer – Co-Founder: Andreas has extensive experience in mobile app development and co-founded TDSoftware, a leading mobile app development company in Germany.
- Henrik Erkkonen – CTO: Henrik holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering and has over a decade of development and CTO experience.
- Ramon Greep – Senior Vice President of Operations: Based in the Netherlands, Ramon has been in the mobile industry since 1997, bringing valuable operational insights.
- Michael Wirth – Director Payment Systems: Michael has two decades of experience in large-scale transaction projects and previously served as Director of Products and Services at eNett International.
- Ville Sundell – Smartcontract Specialist: Ville is a smart contract developer from Finland, known for pioneering autonomous Ethereum-based companies.
- Mark Xu – Country Manager (Japan & China): Mark is responsible for business development and collaboration in Japan and China, based in Tokyo.
- Minho Kang – Country Manager (Korea): Minho manages the Korean market, organizing beta tests and leading one of the largest Dent communities globally.
