Zebec Network (ZBCN)
Zebec Network is a blockchain platform powered by the ZBCN cryptocurrency. It serves as a decentralized infrastructure that facilitates the flow of real-world value, supporting applications for both traditional and digital economies. Zebec was launched in 2021 by Sam Thapaliya.
Overview
Initially introduced as a continuous settlement protocol on the Solana blockchain, Zebec has broadened its technological capabilities. It now integrates various protocols and incorporates a range of blockchain-enabled Real World Asset (RWA) payment and payroll products into a cohesive and interoperable network.

To drive these developments, Zebec invests in traditional payroll service companies through its investment division, Payroll Growth Partners (PGP). This initiative includes partnerships with financial platforms like Circle and Stellar, enabling features such as low-cost cross-border remittances and USDC payroll through its WageLink application. WageLink also offers advanced payroll functionalities such as early pay access, budgeting tools, bill payments, and pay cards within a single platform.
Products
Zebec Cards
In late 2023, Zebec launched the Zebec Instant Card, the first multi-chain card in the industry without custodial requirements and transaction fees. Available in 138 countries and supported by networks like Visa and Mastercard, this card allows users to convert cryptocurrency into fiat currency for everyday transactions. The card can be activated in seconds and integrated into Apple Pay or Google Pay for immediate use both online and in stores.
RWA payments
The WageLink Payroll Application offers web3 capabilities, including low-cost cross-border remittances and USDC payroll services. It also provides advanced payroll features like early pay access, budgeting tools, bill payments, and pay cards, all accessible through a unified application interface.
Nautilus Chain
Launched in 2023, Nautilus is a high-performance, adaptable L3 blockchain designed to support Zebec's global RWA payments and DePin infrastructure. It also accommodates various projects and decentralized applications (dApps) that require high performance and security, such as decentralized finance (DeFi), payment systems, and gaming.
Zebec Vaults
Zebec Vaults offer multiple security measures:
- Funds are stored in a highly secure, multi-signature wallet requiring multiple keys for access, akin to a bank vault.
- Smart contracts facilitate automated interactions between parties, eliminating intermediaries.
- Zebec undergoes audits by top blockchain security firms and maintains compliance, ensuring fund security.
ZBCN tokenomics
The $ZBC token, introduced in 2022, acts as a governance token within the Zebec ecosystem, providing utility through incentives and reduced network fees. The Zebec DAO and community participate in governance, influencing the protocol's direction and operational improvements.
Governance
Zebec employs a hybrid governance framework that combines on-chain and off-chain decision-making. Community members and investors contribute to discussions, and proposals move to on-chain voting stages. The process emphasizes transparency and inclusivity, with community members initiating discussions and advancing proposals with significant engagement to the voting stage.
Funding
In November 2021, Zebec raised $6 million in a seed round led by Republic Capital to develop its continuous settlement protocol on the Solana blockchain. In January 2022, an additional $15 million was raised in a Series A round led by Solana Ventures and Distributed Global to scale the platform and expand its services. In 2023, Zebec secured $28 million through public and private sales of ZBC tokens to further develop its ecosystem and launch the Nautilus Chain.
